Oh salty dog please tell me stories, I am growing tired of my indifference, and needing augmentation of stories other than my own. I am part of a group of people, mid-twenties, united in indifference. We were never going to save the world, but we all thought we were going to save the world. Cant get over it, wont get over it, why would I want to move on from something like... Reserve the right to throw your hands up, stare at all the younger ones and say, "I'm older now and I'm tired". I haven't lost my ambition, my creative nature's on fire! But I'm down on the process and the fruits of my labor. Cant get over it, wont get over it, why would I want to move on from something like this? Take all they're offering at least most of the time. The bigger the person, the bigger the shoulders to stand upon or hide behind. I miss the ocean (and) the salt on my skin. I think of my mother and hope she isn't holding the weight of the world for someone else again. Optimist. I'm the optimist.
